National Asthma Educator Certification Board (NAECB)
The National Asthma Educator Certification board (NAECB) is a not-for-profit organization with the mission "To promote optimal asthma management and quality of life among individuals with asthma, their families and communities by advancing excellence in asthma education through the Certified Asthma Educator process."
An asthma educator who earns the AE-C® credential through the NAECB has demonstrated excellence and knowledge in counseling individuals with asthma and their families about managing their asthma and to minimizing the disease’s impact on their quality of life.
